uPVC window machinery engineersWhen the line stops,
we get it running.
Automated Engineering Solutions install, service, repair and relocate the machinery that makes uPVC (PVC-U) windows and doors. Welders, corner cleaners, saws and machining centres, based in Glasgow and working anywhere in the UK.
Five things, done properly
Fabrication machinery is specialist enough that most factories have nobody in house who can fix it, and no local engineer who knows it. That is the gap we fill.
Installation and commissioning
A new machine is only an asset once it is cutting to tolerance. We take it off the lorry, into position, through commi...

Straight answers
What machinery do you work on?
uPVC (PVC-U) window and door fabrication machinery: welders, corner cleaners, saws, machining centres and the control systems that drive them. The brands we are on most often are URBAN, Emmegi, Pertici, Wegoma, Digi, Stuga, Schirmer.
Do you work on aluminium window machinery as well?
Yes. We work on machinery for both the PVC and aluminium window and door manufacturing industry.
Where are you based?
Glasgow. We work UK-wide.
Do you cover the whole country?
Yes. Fabrication machinery is specialist enough that there is no local engineer for most of it, so we travel to site.
How quickly can you get to a breakdown?
Tell us the machine and the symptom and we will be straight with you about when we can be there. We would rather turn work down than promise a slot we cannot keep.
Can you move a whole factory?
Yes. Whole line moves are planned in phases so you keep some capacity running rather than shutting the floor down completely.
Do you supply parts?
Yes, sourced and fitted. Where a part is on long lead time we will tell you what your options are rather than leaving the machine stood.
